Read MoreLaunched under the aegis of BML Munjal University (BMU), the BMU Kind Circle and BMU Kind Circle Scholarship Fund is targeted towards supporting the higher education of meritorious and deserving students belonging to lower-income backgrounds, including those whose families have been adversely affected by the economic downturn brought about by COVID-19. Under this initiative, students currently pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate programmes* at BML Munjal University will be provided financial support to pay their academic expenses in 2022-23.
The approach of this kind circle is to create a conducive educational environment within BMU for students from disadvantaged sections of society where the ability to invest in education is limited. Through the funds collected from this circle, students will get financial assistance in form of tuition fee waivers or reimbursements to fulfill their allied academic requirements like living, travel, and learning device (laptop) expenses.

Under FCRA rules, what matters is your citizenship, not your country of residence. If you hold an Indian passport, your donation is treated as a domestic (Indian) contribution, even if you currently live abroad. If you hold a foreign passport (including OCI cardholders), your donation is classified as a foreign contribution and processed through our FCRA-compliant route. This is why your passport details are essential—they determine the correct regulatory channel for your donation.
As per the latest FCRA (Foreign Contribution Regulation Act) guidelines issued by the Government of India, foreign contributors are required to provide identification details, including passport number, when making a donation. This information is mandatory for regulatory compliance and helps ensure your contribution is processed lawfully and transparently. Your passport details are stored securely and used only for compliance purposes. You can read more about FCRA rules here.
