Eligibility

  • Students from Class 1 to postgraduate level enrolled in any Indian school or college
  • Annual family income below INR 6 lakh
  • At least 75% marks in the previous academic year

Applications can be submitted through the Buddy4Study website, where the scholarship details and application form will be available during the application period. Required documents typically include proof of identity, academic details, income certificate and references. 

Recipients are selected based on academic achievements, financial need, and personal interactions. A selection committee reviews all applications and chooses the most deserving candidates.

Donations can be made through this Kind Circle Page. Contributions are tax-deductible as per regulations, and donors will receive a receipt for their contributions.

The selection process is conducted by a committee of unbiased experts who review each application based on predefined criteria. The process is transparent and adheres to high ethical standards to ensure fairness and integrity.

Buddy4Study follows a zero-tolerance policy against fraud. Every application goes through multiple layers of due diligence — including Aadhaar/DigiLocker verification, document checks, duplicate detection, and anomaly tracking. Students are further verified through mandatory telephonic or video interviews, and in some cases, physical/home visits. Only those who clear all checks, meet eligibility criteria, and show genuine need are shortlisted. Finally, bank accounts are penny-drop verified before funds are released, ensuring scholarships reach genuine students only — no shortcuts, no fraud, just fairness.
