NextGen Edu Scholarship 2025-26

Eligibility

  • Students studying from Class 11 upto Graduation are eligible to apply.
  • Applicants must be enrolled in any private/government school across India.
  • Candidates must have secured a minimum of 60% in their Class 10.
  • They must have an annual family income of up to INR 3 lakh from all sources.
  • Children of employees of Buddy4Study and EY Global Delivery Services are not eligible to participate in the scholarship.

Benefits

Scholarship of INR 15,000 towards academic-related expenses, including—but not limited to—school fees, exam fees, hostel fees, tuition fees, books and stationery, travelling, tuition/coaching, etc.

Very happy and excited to launch NextGen Edu Kind Circle Scholarship program with an objective to provide scholarship as financial support to deserving students in need. 

  • Students, who are studying in Class 11 in any government or private school, with a family income below INR 3 lakh per annum can apply online. 

  • A scholarship of INR 15,000 will be awarded to selected scholars through a credible selection process.

The EY GDS Employee Kind Circle is an initiative by GDS Corporate Responsibility Team to support meritorious and deserving students through financial aid and mentorship. Employees can donate, nominate students, invite colleagues, and become mentors.

To register, visit the EY GDS Employee Kind Circle page and click on "Join as Member." Enter your mobile number and official EY GDS email ID (@gds.ey.com), then verify with the OTP sent to your email.

As a registered member of EY GDS Employee Kind Circle, you can:

  • Donate towards scholarships
  • Invite other EY GDS employees to join
  • Nominate deserving students for the scholarship
  • Become a mentor to students (This feature is under development)

Once registered, you can donate directly on the EY GDS Employee Kind Circle page (Donate button). Your donations will provide scholarships to nominated or other deserving students selected through a credible process. All donations qualify for 80G tax benefits, and receipts can be downloaded from your Kind Circle dashboard.

You can invite your colleagues by sharing the EY GDS Employee Kind Circle page link with them. Alternatively, click the "Invite Member" button, enter their email ID or mobile number, and send them an email invitation. Encourage them to join using their official EY GDS email ID and mobile number.

To become a mentor, register on the EY GDS Employee Kind Circle platform and indicate your interest in mentoring. You can mentor scholars based on your expertise, time availability, and language preference to help them in their educational journey. (This feature is under development).

To nominate a student, go to the "Nominate a Student" section on the EY GDS Employee Kind Circle page and enter their details (name, class, mobile number, and email ID). Eligible students are those in Class 11 attending any government or private school with an annual family income below INR 3 lakh. The scholarship encourages applications from girls, children of single parents, orphans, transgender individuals, and students with disabilities. You can track the status of your nominated students through the platform, which provides updates on whether they have received the scholarship.

The NextGen Edu Scholarship, hosted on Buddy4Study, is a program aimed at providing financial support to deserving students. Supported by the EY GDS Employee Kind Circle through employee donations and student nominations, the scholarship is open to all eligible students, with special encouragement for girls, children of single parents, orphans, transgender individuals, and students with disabilities. These contributions will be used to pay for school or college fees, books, transport, and tuition fees, ensuring that the students have the necessary resources to pursue their academic dreams without financial burden. You will be able to see the receipts of how the donations were utilised at the end of the academic year.

Note: All donations qualify for 80G tax benefits & donors can download donation receipt directly from the Kind Circle dashboard.

The Central CR Team will assist in matching you with a mentee and/or a scholar, ensuring that students are paired with the most suitable mentors or donors.

Unfortunately, Buddy4Study India Foundation is not registered under FCRA and cannot accept donations coming from outside India. All donations must be made in Indian Rupees. 

Buddy4Study follows a zero-tolerance policy against fraud. Every application goes through multiple layers of due diligence — including Aadhaar/DigiLocker verification, document checks, duplicate detection, and anomaly tracking. Students are further verified through mandatory telephonic or video interviews, and in some cases, physical/home visits. Only those who clear all checks, meet eligibility criteria, and show genuine need are shortlisted. Finally, bank accounts are penny-drop verified before funds are released, ensuring scholarships reach genuine students only — no shortcuts, no fraud, just fairness.
