Since its inception in 2021, the Intuit Rise Girl Child Empowerment Program has supported 2,770 scholars in achieving their academic and career goals, awarding a total of 5,654 scholarships worth ₹14.84 crore by FY'25. Specifically designed to empower young girls from disadvantaged backgrounds, the program is open to female students across India who are pursuing any year of graduation at IITs and NITs, fostering a brighter, more inclusive future for girl students across numerous states and districts in India.

Yes. A single Circle can host multiple initiatives—for example, separate support for school students, UG/PG scholars, or professional courses. Each initiative can have its own budget, criteria, and seat distribution.
Yes. You may temporarily pause new applications or new intakes while still continuing support for existing scholars (if funds are available). The Circle can be set to “inactive” for new cycles whenever required.
If a scholar discontinues studies or becomes ineligible, the remaining unutilised amount returns to your Circle balance. You may decide whether to:
Support a replacement scholar,
Enhance support for an existing scholar, or
Carry the amount forward to the next cycle.
You will receive notifications (email and WhatsApp, where enabled) whenever:
Verified profiles are ready for review,
Final scholar selection is required,
Renewal decisions are due, or
New reports and updates are published.
The role is meaningful but not time-intensive. Most Kartas spend:
A few hours during the first cycle (framework + profile review), and
1–2 hours during key milestones in a year.
The Kind Circle team manages all operational work.
Yes. Eligibility criteria, preference groups, scholarship amounts, and number of seats can be revised annually. The Kind Circle team will help incorporate the changes smoothly.
Yes. The primary Karta role can be reassigned to a family member, colleague, or core group representative. The Kind Circle team will formally update roles and permissions on the platform.
Yes. You may run multiple Circles (e.g., a Family Circle, a Memorial Circle, a Community/Alumni Circle). Each Circle will have its own dashboards and reporting, while you retain central administrative access.
Yes. You may request periodic review calls or customised analysis—such as insights by district, course type, or vulnerability profile—to help refine or scale your scholarship strategy.
Yes. Participation is optional. You may join the scholar felicitation, mentorship sessions, or request a telephonic/video interaction. Scholar personal details remain confidential for privacy.
Yes. You will be able to appoint:
Sub-Kartas – Co-admins who can help review profiles, manage settings, and support decision-making.
Managers – Operational support roles for coordination, communication, and follow-ups.
Note: Some of these enhanced administrative features are currently being developed and will be gradually rolled out on the Kind Circle platform.
Yes. Buddy4Study India Foundation is FCRA-compliant and can receive foreign contributions from eligible donors residing outside India, subject to applicable laws and regulations.
Tax benefits depend on the donor's country of residence and the donation route used. In certain countries, donations may be routed through partner nonprofit organisations that enable donors to avail applicable tax benefits.
Buddy4Study India Foundation is exploring partnership with US-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organisations to facilitate donations from the United States, enabling eligible donors to avail applicable tax deductions. Please contact our team for the latest donation options and giving mechanisms available.
International donations can typically be made through bank transfers, credit/debit cards, online payment gateways, or approved nonprofit partners. Available options may vary by country.
Yes. International donors may choose to make one-time contributions or recurring donations depending on the available payment methods.
Yes. All donors receive an official donation acknowledgement and receipt in accordance with applicable regulations.
Many employers, particularly in the United States, offer employee matching gift programmes. Donors are encouraged to check with their employers regarding matching opportunities, which can significantly increase the impact of their contribution.
Yes. Many Kind Circles are established as memorial scholarships to honour the legacy of parents, family members, teachers, mentors, or loved ones while supporting deserving students in pursuing their education.
Absolutely. Kind Circles are designed to bring together families, friends, colleagues, alumni groups, and communities across the world to collectively support educational causes and create lasting impact.
Yes. Subject to applicable regulations and available payment channels, donors from different countries may contribute to the same Kind Circle and collectively support deserving students in India.
The Intuit India Employee Kind Circle is a platform where Intuit India employees under Intuit Rise program by nominating potential students, and offer mentorship to the girl students. This dashboard will help resolve employees' queries and provide real-time updates on the application status of their referrals.
Registered members can engage in various activities:
Share the Intuit Kind Circle link with your colleagues and encourage them to join using their official Intuit email address and mobile number to ensure authenticity. Alternatively, you can use the "Invite Network" option located on the right side under the "Nominate Student" section.
Register on the platform and express your interest in mentoring. You can support scholars based on your expertise, available time, and preferred language, assisting them throughout their educational endeavors.
Visit the "Nominate a Student" section on the platform, where you'll enter the student's details such as name, educational level, mobile number, and email. The platform will then forward a scholarship application link to the student, complete with a unique reference code.
Scholarships are available to female students currently enrolled and continuing their education from Class 8 through to graduation anywhere in India. Eligible students must have a family income of no more than INR 3,50,000 per annum and have achieved a minimum of 60% in their last academic year. This scholarship is renewable annually, contingent upon maintaining academic performance.
Monitor the progress of your nominated students directly through the platform, which provides real-time updates on their scholarship status.
Once a student is nominated, they receive a scholarship application link via email, along with a unique reference code. The student must complete and submit the application through the provided link, attaching all required documents. The platform then evaluates the application through a rigorous review process. Updates on the application status are available on the platform, ensuring transparency for both the nominator and the student.
The selection of scholars for “Intuit Rise Girl Child Empowerment Program 2025-26” will be made based on their academic merit and economic background. It involves a multi-stage selection process as detailed below:

Marksheet of previous class/semester/academic year
A government-issued identity proof (Aadhaar Card/Voter ID/Driving License/PAN Card)
Current year admission proof (Fee Receipt/Admission Letter/Institution ID Card/Bonafide Certificate)
Applicant Bank Passbook/Cancelled Cheque (Information will also be captured in the application form)
Valid and recent family income proof (ITR Form-16/income certificate from SDM/DM/Tehsildar or competent government authority/salary slips)
Students who don’t qualify for scholarships can explore other opportunities on Buddy4Study, which offers various programs for different needs.
Additionally, nominated students can reapply for the Intuit scholarship in the next cycle if their circumstances or academic performance improve, provided they still meet the eligibility requirements.

Buddy4Study follows a zero-tolerance policy against fraud. Every application goes through multiple layers of due diligence — including Aadhaar/DigiLocker verification, document checks, duplicate detection, and anomaly tracking. Students are further verified through mandatory telephonic or video interviews, and in some cases, physical/home visits. Only those who clear all checks, meet eligibility criteria, and show genuine need are shortlisted. Finally, bank accounts are penny-drop verified before funds are released, ensuring scholarships reach genuine students only — no shortcuts, no fraud, just fairness.
